“The vest has been a great purchase. I don’t have a car so it comes in handy. I use it back packing, riding my bike, and walking… and inside the cold historic home where I currently stay. The bulk of the battery sits flat and hasn’t been a problem with backpacking. If I’m not wearing it I disconnect the battery just to prevent it from turning on and wasting precious warmth (not that it’s turned on by itself) but I imagine it could with everything packed tight.”
