“I picked up the ORORO Augusta Women’s Heated Sweater Fleece Vest in Dark Heather Gray (size Medium), and it’s quickly become one of my go-to layers when the weather turns cold. I like that it looks more like a casual fleece vest than a bulky heated jacket, so I can wear it out and not feel like I’m wearing technical gear all day.
The fleece is soft, comfortable, and warm even without the heat turned on. Once the heating kicks in, it makes a noticeable difference, especially across the core where I tend to feel cold first. It heats up quickly and provides steady warmth without feeling overpowering. I also appreciate that it’s lightweight and easy to layer under a jacket or over a long-sleeve shirt.
The fit in a Medium is just right for me—snug enough to hold in heat but not restrictive. The Dark Heather Gray color is neutral and easy to match with pretty much anything. Battery life has been solid so far, lasting through several hours of use, which makes it practical for long days outside.

“I have four Ororo heated vests and one parka. I purchased this one and oene of my other vests to wear primarily inside while watchig TV or reading. The vests in the fleece or sweater material are more conducive for inside use as opposed to the vests in the nylon material. I did have to exchange for a medium. All my other Ororo vests and coat are extra smalls or smalls. That is the reason for the four star rating instead of a five. Their sizing seems inconsistent. The exchange was easily handled and my replacement came quickly. I also am a fan of the double zipper which not all of their products have.”
