“Overall, I do like the jacket. I used it today while working on ski patrol on a -4 morning. I wear a women's medium and wanted a size to fit right over my base layers. I needed a women's small, despite the reviews stating the vest runs small. I think if you are looking for a vest to be one of your outer layers, maybe it runs small. Maybe. If you want a vest for just over your base layers, I would recommend going a size smaller.
4 stars because the zipper is sticky (but seems like it will loosen up) and I just am not impressed with the pockets. The breast pocket is too small for a phone and the hand pockets are snaps, not a zipper.”
“THis vest is wonderfully made, i do love it. but i am only giving it a 4 star due to the fit. It is sized larger, if i could have i would have returned it for a size S as this one fits large and the heat is not exactly as great as it should be because there is alot of air flow thru the arm holes. The battery took some time to charge (all night) and you need the appropriate charger for the battery to charge correctly. It is pretty easy to accedently change the heat setting, so i have to keep watching that because i dont want to be caught in the cold with a dead battery. but over all it is a vest i would recommend, just purchase a size smaller.”
