“The fit by the armpits and the biceps area are tight. Other areas fit fine. I also noticed the hood is oversized to where it will cover all the way down to my mouth. There couple straps to tighten it, but the hood is extremely too big.
As for the heating unit, I was impressed with the warmth it created around the neck area. Besides that, the pockets and upper back wasn't very noticeable. I'm not sure if this is a malfunction because the neck area works great.”
“I love the fit, look, and utility of the heated down jacket. However, it has a strong chemical smell (borderline pungent) such that I cannot bring it inside. It arrived in nice packaging and was partially vacuum sealed inside a plastic bag. I’m hoping the smell will dissipate while hanging it/ airing it out in my garage. The garage began to smell from it, so I had to plug in an air freshener. If the smell does not sufficiently improve, I will reluctantly return it. I also ordered the Ororo heated gloves (Twin Cities) and the newer/small battery for the jacket - both of which I highly recommend.”
