“My wife and my niece have heated vests, and talk them up big time...best, awesome, how did I live with out a heated vest. I drank the coolaide, and am disappointed. The jacket looks nice, fits well, but for me just doesn't make sense and was a horrible purchase. When it is 20 degrees F, or colder, I turn on my heated jacket. Sure my shoulders and upper arms feel warm, maybe to warm, but my midsection is just cool to cold. If I turn down the heat one level, I can't even tell I have a heated jacket. It works, but it doesn't work. I don't get it. I'm going back to dressing in layers, so I am comfy, and can regulate my heat via zippers, adding and removing layers. Relying on batteries in a broken down vehicle verses dressing in layers seems very foolish. I know others are happy, I feel it was a big waste of money. You win some, you lose some. I will see if I can sell my gloves and jacket after this winter and take a loss. Oh well.”
