“I had another brand was nice and toasty. It failed, was replaced by the other company three times. Never seemed as good as the first one. So change brands. this coat is not as wind resistant. Warms up, still not as warm in 25 degree F weather, with wind chills in the 0 F degree.”
“I've purchased roughly 7 Ororo heated items (mostly from Amazon) over the last couple years as gifts for family and friends. All of those prior purchases have been as expected and worked well, but the latest dual zone men's jacket seems like a departure from the norm. The heating elements seem weaker than in my wife's jacket (both soft shell style) purchased about 2 years ago. It's not a battery issue, as we've swapped batteries with the same result. Additionally the sizing seems one size smaller than it should be. I ordered my normal coat size which is generally plenty roomy, but this Ororo jacket fits like something the next size down.”
