“So I own 3 jackets and 2 vests. All 5 work as one would expect. Heat quickly, long lasting on lowest setting.
I gave 4 stars because of three issues that I have with the items.
The first issue is that unless you are very fit and trim they size on the small side. I normally wear a 2X but had to return my first jacket because their 2X was too small for me. A 3x size fit fine.
The second issue is with the battery\power packs.
While you can charge them with standard USB and USB-C cables you cannot use any other battery\power pack because the jacket uses a "Ororo" custom plug. Now I know that this is an industry wide gimmick to keep you tied to their "eco-system" but I'm not a fan of it.
The last, third, issue is the lack of colors that are offered along with minimal pocket space.
Would I buy it again... Yes. I already own 5.
One last special thing to note.
Do not remove the item tags until after you have tried the item on and verify that it fits you as you would like. Ororo is very specific about this so read the tags before you remove them.”
“The fleece is great quality, and nicely warm on its own. The heat is very comfortable, and also cozy, which I wasn't expecting. It's only been down to 20F since I got the fleece, but I've only had to use it on low, so I've been getting a whole day or two out of a charge, depending on how long I'm outside.
Sizing is accurate as Ororo describes.
My only complaint is that the light is extremely bright. I've put some black tape over it, but it's a little disconcerting hanging out around a campfire with this signal flare on my chest.”
