Heats up very fast almost instantly.
The lighted control button on the chest changes color for each temperature setting but it's way too bright. It really needs to be dimmed by about 75%.
This vest has heating elements over the chest which is where I need it the most (not over the lower torso like some other brands)

“I have the Clasic heated vest which I was very pleased with so I ordered the Fleece vest which I knew would be thinner to wear under a motorcycle jacket. It seems like the collar on the fleece vest is higher than the Classic and a little uncomfortable. I do like the fact that the chest heating elements are higher, a feature that I would like to see in the classic. Time will tell as I get used to wearing it.”
