“Vest works well. I usually wear a Med, but had to size up to Large. Battery is located in back pocket. Fine while walking/standing, but very uncomfortable while sitting. The card of deck size battery pushes into my lumbar area when sitting with backrest. Need to find an alternative location for the battery.”
“Put vest on first time with tags. Heats right up, super warm, felt great! Decided to keep it. Cut tag off (cut tag off NO return warning label). Then I sat down. Absolutely HORRIBLE! Battery compartment located at back by lower spine. Sitting in any chair, car seat, recliner, ski chair lift, golf cart… absolutely MISERABLE! Whoever designed that needs fired! Other ORORO vests have battery in SIDE pocket. Couldn’t return vest. So moved wiring to side pocket and resewed pocket seams after “electrical wiring surgery”. Now vest is COMFORTABLE. Used in 20 degree weather as mid layer. Worked great. Battery time about as published. Choose the OTHER golf vest. Not this one! Also, all Ororo products have “Cheap made” zippers, especially the non well made hair thin attachment to operate zipper. It will fail... Not a rough and tumble well overbuilt brand. Cost cutting at its finest.”
“The only problem with the battery being in the back of the vest is when you are driving or sitting in a chair. The battery presses into your lower back and can be painful. What sounded like a good idea turned out not to be so.”
