We live in the midwest, so even though I have not been able to truly test in cold weather, I can say the vest is super comfortable and fits great! I bought a large so as to not hinder my swing. I have been able to, while wearing the vest, practice. There is no rubbing under the arms and the vest is soft/not stiff. The exterior (Ororo refers to it as "sweater"), is soft. Rather than some of the other Ororo vests which are more rigid and make noise, this vest is soft and quiet when I swing. So far, no issues at all with the durability, it continues to look brand new!
One of the best area of the vest is the lining. Ororo, I love it! The lining has a raised square recycled fleece which gives comfort and, certainly, warmth. We own several similar hunting jackets which have similar patterns. They are some of the warmest garments we own. Because of the design, it's like air is trapped around your body which is soo warm! Well done Ororo!
The vest heats up super quickly which is awesome when it is cold and you have to grab a vest and run out the door.
