“Although Ororo claims the vest works with most power banks it does not. I bought 2 INUI 10000 mah batteries that are the top rated ones for portability and have automatic trickle charge. With either of these batteries the vest just shuts off after preheat. Very dissapoint with Ororo for claiming the vest works with most batteries.”
Hi Roger, thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand how disappointing this can be. This OH vest is designed to work with USB-C (Type-C) output power banks, and for the best heating performance, we recommend using a UL-certified power bank with 18W PD (Power Delivery). Some third-party power banks may shut off automatically due to their output or control features, which can affect heating performance.
For the most reliable experience, you may consider using one of our PD batteries, which are designed to work seamlessly with our heated apparel:

“As a ticket checker at Deer Valley, I am in uniform the entire time I'm on the mountain. This vest fits nicely under my zip-neck T so even with my jacket off, there is no sign of the vest. At 5' 10" and 170 lbs I wouldn't want it any bigger (I wear it over a lightweight layer). The three heat settings allow me to dial in the output so I am always comfortable and the location and design of the switch make adjustment during the day simple and easy to get it right. I will not be cold at work this winter!”
