“Although America is turning 250 this year, this patriotic blanket isn't just for a chilly 4th of July celebration. Living in the Midwest, nights get chilly and bonfires and camping are a popular activity. I used this blanket for this very occasion and managed to stay warm the entire time, despite the evening MN cool night breeze. Everyone was dressed in layers of sweats they had slowly put on as the night went on, but I was wearing only the clothing I came with and this lightweight heated blanket. I love that you can use it as a normal blanket or button it up to make a parka. The location of the heat hits just perfectly for this! It folds up easily for transport and will be going everywhere with me. As a semi-ambulatory person, I'll be also using this to cover my legs when I'm using my wheelchair. It would also be amazing for a chilly office or sporting event. I'm looking forward to trying it out during football season as I cheer on my favorite team! It's very easy to use-just plug in the battery, turn it on using the button, let it heat up for a minute or so, and then select one of three levels of heat. I'm a girl who likes the warmth, so the red setting is my go-to! I love having a blanket that I can just throw in the car for a long ride that folds up to almost nothing.
