“I was excited about the seat after already purchasing a heated jacket and felt it would really help me in the winters - my car does not have heated seats, and this is a great alternative that can also be taken with you to events, camping or wherever you may need it.
However I was disappointed to realize how much smaller and less powerful the mini battery it comes with seems to be than the larger sturdy one that came with my jacket.
Especially when these seat cushions seem to be intended for using at outdoor sporting events or camping, you want a decent batter life from the charge so that you can use it for a few hours at a time... turn it off...and mayeb still get a whole second use out of it before you have to charge it up again.
the input is also different with only a USB option, where the jacket has a DC input. I saw what looked like a DC input on the mini, but the pad has no other cord or output that works to connect to the DC input hole. (?)
overall I still am decently happy with the product, esp since I got it ahead of the snow storm that just dropped 6 inches of snow and shut down the DMV (DC, MD, VA) area for 3 days.

“This is the second seat cushioned I purchased. The first (purchased a few years ago) is excellent and keeps me nice and toasty warm. The second barely heats at all. I'm not sure what the problem is, since everything appears to be working fine, but it simply isn't as warm as the first.”
“We bought these for football season. Our team made the playoffs so the season was extended into colder weather. I have knee issues so I sit down more than I stand. The cushion was plenty warm enough when I had it on.”
