“I was skeptical about the fit until I tried them on. Surprise, a perfect fit! While I might not recommend for heavy work, for my use (shoveling snow), they're great. “Used these gloves for the first time 1/31/22. After pruning grapevines for 2.5 hours in 30 degree weather in fleece lined leather gloves my hands were very cold. I switched to the Calgary gloves and inside of 5 minutes my hands were comfortable and I continued pruning for another 1.5 hours. Second best investment after my Ororo heated vest.”
“I am disappointed that the heat time set on medium is 5 hours which proves to be correct after using them. Wish there was an option to increase the time frame. Using gloves for skiing and need at least another hour to 2 hours before the battery runs down.”
“Although they're too big for me (I probably didn't measure correctly), the touchscreen compatibility still works wonderfully. The batteries are small and slim, and both can be charged at once with the included charger.
Bulkier than any glove -I've- had before, they'll take some getting used to. Those who already use a thicker, "work" or "sport" type of glove probably won't have any difficulty. They fit securely without being uncomfortable. When not in use, there's a small clip that keeps them together, and there's soft, but sturdy, wrist loops for when you want to hold them but still keep your hands free.
The heating element certainly holds up to the Ororo name. These gloves are incredibly insulating and will keep you warm, even without turning on the electric heating. It hasn't dropped below freezing here much, but when it does, I know my hands will be kept safe in these.”
