Hi James, we’re sorry to hear that the gloves didn’t warm up as expected. They actually feature three adjustable heat settings. Our customer service team will reach out to you to help troubleshoot and ensure the gloves are working properly. Thank you for your patience.
“I purchased the heated glove liners to use inside of my ski mittens. The fit was very good. Unfortunately, the liners did not keep my hands warm even at the highest setting. Temperatures at the time of use were in the low by 20s. One of the batteries will only charge to two bars even though it is brand new. Not sure if this is normal. I was hoping these glove liners would solve my problem with cold hands while skiing, unfortunately they did not.”
“Don't go by the sizing, we ordered size M initially using the measuring guide provided. Fingers were too short. It was easy to return and exchange for size L. We work outdoors and these are keeping my husband's hands warm in these cold wintry days. This is our fifth ORORO product. Thanks ORORO!”
“Tried out in 20-25F dry conditions, barely felt warm (warms back of hand, not palm or fingers.
Conducted temperature testing using Therapen One Thermomter (S/N B23373571) both indoor ambient and outdoor ambient conditions.
Indoor ambient temp: 65F
Hand inside glove (back of hand) without heating: 82F
Hand inside glove (back of hand) start-up cycle: 89F
Hand inside glove (back of hand) normal/white cycle: 86F
Outdoor ambient temp: 34F snowing, wind 2-5mph
Hand inside glove (back of hand) without heating: 77F
Hand inside glove (back of hand) start-up cycle: 79F
Hand inside glove (back of hand) normal/white cycle: 76F
Have not tested battery (2Ah) for MTTD (mean time to discharge), but suspect only 2-3 hr run-time.”
“1) battery charge lasts only about an hour when on high
2) amount of warmth provided , even on high, is less than expected
3) takes a LONG time to fully charge batteries”
