“As a schoolteacher who lives and works in southern Louisiana, it doesn't get very cold here often. However, on the days when the temperature goes below 50 degrees, and you're having to stand outside and watch children play, I purchased these gloves thinking it would help my hands. It does, in a way. Although they go to the "pre-heat" setting when you first turn them on, that is when you can really feel the warmth. However, I usually have to let them pre-heat without putting them on my hands first. After they warm up (5min), they are great until the heat wears off on the the palm-side of your hands. There is nothing keeping the inside of your hands warm so you can feel the cold on that part but the top of your hand is staying warm. I find that the included batteries don't stay charged for very long. Even setting them on HIGH, I may get about 30-45 min of heat before they start to fizzle out. Unfortunately, one of the batteries (after being at a full charge) will go to 75% after the "warm-up" period. Other than that, I think they are comfortable to wear and the green ones I picked look stylish. I do like the fact that you don't have to take them off in order to use your phone.”
