“I found these mittens after many hours of searching and research. They heat well, battery life is decent in 10°F weather. And I don’t notice the battery, unless I rest my arm on a car console, armrest or a table. No noticeable weight is felt from the addition of the battery. The ONLY reason I didn’t five stars is because of the thumb "flap". I use these when in the field doing research. I use binoculars and spotting scopes to gather data and I needed a way to use my fingers and thumbs, without a glove. When I pull back the thumb flap it is EXTREMELY hard to get my thumbs covered again with out pulling the mitten almost off. The magnets to hold the "flaps" down when using bare fingers is a great idea! And the fit overall is good.”
