“The socks worked pretty well but did not get very warm on the warmest setting. The battery is bulky and placed at the top of the sock. It makes it look like you have lumps on your legs. I would like to see an adapter cable that lets you run the battery from your pants pocket.”
“All the good: Battery lasts as advertised. Sock is warm without heat. With heat your entire foot is very warm on medium. It needs to be in your shoe or ski boot for the maximum heat effect. Battery location and its size is not annoying at all. It’s actually comfortable and tall enough to be on top of the ski boot. I am a size 12. XL way too big. Size down if you are on the line or you will have a floppy sock. The bad: The 20% restocking fee to exchange. The electrical wire isn’t fun to stand on. Skiing you will forget about it. Walking without shoes will annoy you. With shoes slightly annoying. But if you are skiing….you need it.”
