“I have a pair of heated socks by another brand so I have something to compare. I love Ororo and wanted a 2nd pair so decided to try the socks. They're very soft and the construction appears solid. They're quite thick so won't fit in my everyday shoes, neither do the others. I'm an 8.5 and the medium fits well. The battery is bigger than it needs to be. The battery pocket needs a snap or velcro at the top to prevent the battery from being pushed up and out of its home...I'll add something. I haven't skied in them yet but am optimistic that the heating element will be sufficient in the confine of the boot. At the moment I'm wearing them around the house while in my snowboard boots and everything feels ok but I am definitely aware of the heating element, more so than in my other socks but they're thicker. I just cranked up the heat and I can definitely feel it in the toe box!”
“These are awesome socks. Highly recommend layering them under another pair of socks to trap in the heat. Perfect for any cold weather where you stop moving at times, or just for chilly mornings in the house. I’m a women’s 10 and got a size Large. Consider sizing up if you have thic calves!”
“I have Raynaud's and have been looking for a heated sock that is not too thick that I could wear with street shoes. These are good in my garden/hiking boots but are too thick for street shoes. The battery pack is also too thick to wear with leggings and straight leg jeans. For gardening in the cool, damp spring weather in CA, my feet were nice and cozy at medium temp. They did not get too hot or sweaty.”
