Definitely size down when ordering. I am a size 7.5-8 women’s shoe and the ORORO size chart recommended I get a M. I got the M only to find out it’s too big and the sock excess hangs out of my shoes. The battery life could use improvement. The warming element does not get very hot. Pros are the socks are very stretchy and the material is thick. They insulate well even without the heat turned on.

These socks have no heating element in the toes so my toes (the coldest part of my feet) remain cold. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

If you’re looking for more direct warmth toward the top of the foot, you might prefer a style with dual heating zones (front sole + front instep) instead. Received the socks as a gift for Christmas 2 years ago. Wore them maybe a total of 10-15 times hunting and the one sock doesn’t heat anymore, only blinks red. Customer service never answers the phone. Total junk.

I had an issue with one of my heated socks and reached out to Ororo to see if it could be resolved. A rep from the company asked me a few simple questions to understand the issue and then told me they were going to send me a new pair. The process was easy and their customer service was outstanding!
