It is waterproof, heavy enough but not bulky, has a detachable hood and is very easy to operate. “I got an Ororo jacket a couple years ago as a gift; the wiring didn’t last long but was great while it lasted.
The Quality of my new jacket is a little less than desirable; the stitching is frayed everywhere and the coat is falling apart after one month of light useage and zero wash time.
The battery pack chargers are different and my old charger wiring is also shot.”
“Our family has several of the Ororo items. They’re pretty toasty and fit well. The batteries last quite a while. The level of warmth is perfect for our area as we experience all 4 seasons and cold weather to sometimes -10 and up to 45 in winter. And it could fluctuate from 20 to 45 in 12 hours. “I’ve only tried the jacket once to check all is in check as it is a Christmas gift so cannot comment on its durability but initial thoughts are in very impressed.
The jacket turned up before expected - it was packaged well - I will make UK buyers aware that theses are posted from China and not America so there is a 33£ import tax to pay - if you speak to customer services they will refund this - I was slightly panicked when I received the email and worried it was a dodgy website but the customer services was second to none, refunded the import tax instantly so I couldn’t praise them enough for this!
The jacket is very well made - heats up fast the only thing I would say is the battery is rather fat but other than this I am very impressed with the quality of the jacket - how it was presented and the service provided.
