“After 2 folks recommended the jacket, I dove in to try it. Fortunately, I found it on sale. While still pricey, it's really nice to have the upper body warm on colder walks. The battery is remarkably light while the jacket is a tad heavier than expected. I'd like to give it a 4.5 as the neck portion is short so the hood pulls on my head a tad and the jacket itself is a tad short in length. After two walks with it on, I am happy I bought it.”
“Here were my concerns with the light color. I have black dogs and white gets dirty, can be washed, yada yada. My biggest concern? Makeup on the area surrounding my face - turned out to be a non-issue. The coat by itself is warm enough when doing activities with a layer or 2. So, I just came back from a ski trip and winter hiking in Bend. While active, the coat is def. warm and I did layer enough in case I drained the batteries. Here's where it came in handy. On the windy lift at the end of the day... At the apres ski when I was kinda sweaty and couldn't get warm and on the car ride home. Both the pants and the jacket saved me. Walking into my freezing cold house that takes a long time to heat up - great! Location of the chest pocket, perfect for lift scan.
A few improvements I would suggest is the inner pocket with the velcro seems not strong enough and the pocket is going to remove itself from the velcro. The zip pocket for the connector seems much sturdier. The side outer pockets barely fit my IPhone Max with it's case and they should be a little deeper.”
