“Just added the parka to my collection for the extra length. I love it. I’ll continue to wear my jacket or vest and fleeces as the weather dictates, but couldn’t be more pleased with how warm this parka is even without the heat, and the additional length for me is a must when the days are extra cold”
“Pros:
-I’m in MN, we have cold winters. I surprisingly don’t need the heat on the regular (yet), the jacket is warm enough on its own.
-Fits well
-I accidentally left the heat on low for 6 hours after I took it off, then forgot it in a cold car during winter for 2 weeks while on vacation. The battery was still at 75%!
-I’m 5’0 (small), it goes down to my knees, it keeps my butt and thighs warm
-detachable hood
-double zipper which helps being able to walk in a jacket that’s at my knees
Cons/things I’d tweak
-the double zipper is nice until im trying to zipper it. The zippers don’t stay together during the initial zipper connection and it’s really hard to zipper a jacket that’s at my knees with 2 zipper heads that keep moving apart and the piece on the right side that slides into the zipper heads is floppy, which makes matters worse. I’ve never had to work so hard to zipper a jacket before!
-the deep side pockets, while it’s nice they can securely keep my phones in them, they are too deep. When driving, the pockets get cut in half by the seat belt and with how they’re located in the design, they get cut in half just by sitting so you have to stand up to get into the pockets, making it impossible to easily grab a Kleenex from my pocket when I need it (which is all the time). Forget being able to access your phone in your pocket if you’re wearing a seat belt.
-the fur on the hood needs to go. The hood is detachable, which is good, however I wish there was a hood option sans fur. I want a hood, but I’m also frequently gagging from tiny hairs from the hood that keep making their way into my throat every time I wear it. Please make a separate hood with no fur!”
“This is without a doubt the best parka for outdoor evening dining and skiing! Just wish they would be a little more fashion conscious, but I wouldn't trade this for all the tea in Ceylon.”
