“I looked at a lot of heated vests. I have one my another manufacturer which i like, but the control button being at the bottom front pocket lacks accessibility when you are bundled up. What sold me on this is the heated collar and the control switch in a more accessible spot, not to mention my coworker who wears her all the time.
Its well made, the zipper works easily and the fit is perfect for my 5'6" 132 lb frame ( I got a medium). It allows me a couple light layers underneath and easily goes under my outer layers for those long sits in the woods and cold.
The only reason why I gave it 4 stars was the battery weight and placement. It sits on the side of my hip bone which feels awkward, especially underneath bibs. I still have to trial it on those cold sits to see how it really works and if the battery causes a pressure point. It warms up fast and even on the low setting was perfect on a mid 20s day going to get our Christmas tree. A great product that I'd purchase again and recommend to others.”
“I ride my horse in Michigan, and while we have an indoor arena it’s not heated and with COVID it’s not safe to warm up in the tack room. This keeps me warm and I use the pockets as a glove warmer, switching back and forth between the two pairs as my hands get cold. Several barn mates have purchased their own after seeing mine and they’re equally happy”
