“Since I bought this as a gift, I was delighted, at first, that the package arrived promptly. The delight immediately faded, however, when I opened the package to discover that the shipment was entirely wrong. Instead of a gray fleece vest and spare battery I received a white puffy parka without the extra battery. My e-mail to customer service elicited a response, THREE DAYS LATER, requesting photographic "evidence" to assist in their "investigation." Two more days elapsed before a replacement package was shipped - still missing the extra battery. (Following another inquiry, I was granted permission to retain the one battery that had been included in the original erroneous shipment) So, customer service eventually came through but it was far from a quick and friction-less process. As for the vest itself the fit and quality seem fine. The warmth and battery life are at least as good as expected. One major reservation: I selected the vest specifically because the website noted that it features heating that includes the neck but what I received clearly DOES NOT INCLUDE THE NECK. Given the experience with the initial erroneous shipment I'm left with the suspicion that I ultimately received some obsolete, dis-continued item. Beware! They won't take returns if the tags are removed. I didn't detect the absence of heat to the neck before removing the tag. Probably just as well since I'm unsure how I would have provided a photograph in support of such a complaint.”
“I ordered a medium this time and a small the last time. I feel like they run smaller than you would expect, so order the next size up if you want a little space and breathing room. Not really made for women with a bigger chest or a bigger belly. More designed for small chested and slim women, as far as fit goes.”
“This is my 2nd Ororo heated vest. I bought one for skiing and it saves my cold butt on the slopes! But, I wanted one for the house when I'm the only one here and running the heater for just one person seems wasteful. This will get me through the cold mornings in ahhhh...warm comfort.”
