“I bought a size small, based on my daughter's recommendation of the outstanding heated vest that she had bought in XS (although she is 4 inches taller than I, she is somewhat thinner than I am). It turned out that the S doesn't work for someone who is 4'11". The vest is really better on someone a good 3" to 4" taller. So, no matter the glowing review by my daughter (and son-in-law), I am unable to wear this. It's been sent to my daughter. So, please understand that the 3* rating has nothing to do with the quality of the heating, but, rather, that the sizing is not good for someone who is short. Let me explain a bit further: If I pull the vest up by 3 to 4 inches, i.e., for a much taller person, then the vest fits perfectly. Returning the S for a M would not work because it would then be even longer in the upper part of the vest.”
