“Had decided I wanted to move away from a sleeping bag as always found them too restrictive, but the quality camping quilts all seem to be pretty pricey (other than risking gambling by purchasing from a far-eastern knock-off seller). Came across this quilt and it seemed to tick all the boxes so went for it. Have to see very pleased with the purchase so far - good quality build, lofts up well and compresses down to nothing.”
“After many restless camping nights being trussed up in a mummy sleeping bag we decided to give these quilts a go. A bit apprehensive as most other quilts we'd looked at were more expensive.
We have now used the quilts over 3 weeks camping in tempretures as low as 0° and paired with some cheap down trousers, jacket and boots plus a R5 rated matt kept us nice and warm through the night.
The quilt packs up small and fluffs up nicely when unpacked.
Very happy we chose this quilt.”
“I have seen some reviews online saying it’s a Chinese copy or it’s no where near what it states for cold ect
My honest review is it’s great for the money quickly sent seems good quality and it definitely isn’t a winter bag but it doesn’t say it is it will be perfect for summer”
“The quilt arrived well packaged and compact in it's stuff sack. The quilt was quick to warm up. Very good quality item at an excellent price. Included were attachment straps to keep it secured to your sleeping pad.”
“I've been after a new Quilt and had been looking at the Zenbivy but I ain't got Zenbivy money. I came across this Quilt and humed and harrd. I'm super stoked I decided to buy the quilt and bed bundle as they are bloody awesome. I used them for the first time last night and was as comfy as hell. Well worth the money Thanks guys. THIS IS A MAGICAL BIT OF KIT. I LOVE IT ❤️”
“Toe in the water, with quilts for me I'm a sleeping bag user, but thought I'd try a different approach, the quilt is very compact, lofts really well once unpacked material feels nice zip at the bottom is a nice touch and draw string to create a foot box to stop drafts, I bought a large. Which worked out really well as I could popper the bottom up slip it over my mattress, stopping the quilt from riding up in the night.
I don't how warm you'd be down to low single figure degrees. I'd definitely carry a down jacket and trousers incase the mercury plummets.
So far it a very nice pice of kit and has reduced the pack size on the motorbike even with down jacket and trouser.
I'd highly recommend a good sleeping bag liner to slip your mattress into giving an extra layer between you and mattress or a wool blanket mine has R3. 8 rating, warm, just not a nice feel even with merino base Layers on.
A great quality item I'm very happy with it.”
“Bought the ul700 after a friend bought one and said it was warm and comfortable when he used it. I agree. Very warm, comfortable and lightweight for the price you pay. Can't wait to use on many more camp trips. Can't thank Ben and the team enough for their timely manner in accepting and then shipping my order. Thanks guys.”
