About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

We’re 100% Aussie-owned and operated, with our Brisbane showroom open 6 days a week. Swing by Acacia Ridge Monday to Friday (8am–5pm) or Saturday (8am–1pm), or call us on 1300 854 185 to chat about your next trip.

This is a big life saver for me as before this I had to disconnect the earth battery lead every time after use to preserve the battery charge. So now all I do is insert the key and turn it a short way to reconnect and the battery doesn't get drained so I am a happy man indeed! I bought 2 keys as one stays in the switch when turned on and removed once it is turned off. The other I have attached too the starter key for the mower in case I lose one.
