“These are well made boots. I have made boots and shoes. I make the last and then make the shoe. Fit is a problem with these. Bought extra wide allowing for American sizeing because the standard style seems to forget that the little toe points slightly out. So much trouble trying to stretch these for little toe. Made my own contoured leather and felt insoles (this gave me immediately an extra size at least for fit) and a wooden form to push an allowance for little toe. Sort of getting there now. Will have to visit store and try others on to find correct sizing n this brand I guess.the only complaint I suppose is the style which sweeps a line from the little toe joint to the boot toe.looks good, does not allow for real foot. 1895 book (John Bedford lenno) best English boot making method says fashion should not be favoured over fit. RMW does the same thing. Though they do have 750 fittings I understand so may be the same solution; find the size within the product range.”
