A very versatile rain poncho that is that bit tougher than average, bought it for travel and it will fit over a back pack no problem, because it is tougher it is a bit weighty but a good trade off and good value.

Very easy to whip out and throw on. I bought this for trekking through the Outer Hebrides, only had to use it in anger the once in 200 miles. Fits easily over me and my 45l backpack. The only criticism I have is the arm length, I’m 5”10, the overall length was good reaching to my knees but the arms came up too short. Also wrapped up 2 packs nicely when we had to stash our kit in a sand dune.

Great though this item may be, the fact that it has tailored arms, means that it is less universal. I am a big guy, admittedly, I wear a 20” collared shirt, whose arms are usually just right ( to give you an idea of my size). Outdoor GB were very accommodating in processing my refund.

I have tried several ponchos and this is the best by far. Neck zip means it is easy to take on and off and it has full length sleeves. Ponchos which convert to a tarp have press stud closures down the side which blow open in the wind and gaps allowing rain in. It is roomy so there is plenty of ventilation and lots of space if you want to cover your pack too. Lightweight kit to use as an emergency shelter or if you get caught out in the rain. For summer or warm weather hiking it may be all you need

I was in need of a new poncho for hiking with 40 litre backpack and came across this one. I am 5'7 and the poncho goes down below the knee, on the back it goes down half way to the calves (without backpack). Thumb loopes are pretty comfortable and I really like the pockets on the chest and large front pocket! The overall size is quite big for me, but that makes it easier to get it over the head very quickly! Nothing worse than to get soaked or the pack just because the poncho is a bit less baggy. Not tested in the rain yet, but I do not worry too much about that, as I have used snugpack gear before and have always been happy with the quality. I was looking for a new piece of functional gear (I do not care how I look in it) and overall this ticks all my boxes: small pack size, low weight, easy to jump in, suitable for bigger backpack, did I mention the pockets already ;O) Overall I wish I had seen this model before

Absolutely brilliant. It packs down small and keeps me dry. Would highly recommend to take fishing.

I’ve given the poncho a run out and it worked as I liked it; but tight around the cuffs when I placed over my pack and myself, also could do with some midway waist line draw cord. Other than that, pretty good
