“I apologize for being so rude to you. I think your company is great, your products are great, I hated to think of losing you. However, things have been very tense around here lately. My husband and I are low-tech seniors and we have house problems. It rained and rained so hard during this past few months that we now need to replace our roof, and mold has started growing in the garage. (My husband is a retired fire fighter, injured on the job, has only one lung and if we don't get rid of the mold, that will be very dangerous to his one remaining lung. We also have water leakage signs on several of our rooms inside the house, so something is leaking out of control up there and we have to fix it. I was in the middle of some phone calls when I sent you the email. I was horribly upset and I took my frustration out on you. I am sorry. We have completed (almost) an Equity Loan on our house $200,000 to fix all the repairs, that might not be all of them, since the roof needs to come off first, all the leaks cannot be seen right now. We are two old "foggies" on pension/fixed incomes, and I had just about reached the end of my rope getting the loan. I saw and ordered your sheets, was thrilled with the quality of your sheets. We had finally just purchased a new bed that my husband can raise and lower, and I needed new sheets. My husband is nearly 80 years old and we saved and saved for this bed because he only has one lung and COPD and it was getting hard for him to sleep unless he elevated his upper body on the bed. Thought all was going well, then the circus came to town and $200,000 later we're stuck. Then Overstock came into my life and I took out everything on you. Sorry. I'd like to buy more sheets but I haven't got a plug nickel left on the shelf for awhile. I will save my pennies and try in six months or so buy some of your sheets. You are wonderful.
