“Surprisingly warm for such an odd fuzzy base layer. This is warmer than expected and dries quickly. An excellent base layer for cool days. Perfect for those 40F mornings when worn under a LS jersey and with a vest. Size XL fits just right for this portly 5'11 190lbs has-been.”

“This is not a normal baselayer. The tuffed "dots" over a very loosely-woven fabric allows the top to maintain warmth while wicking sweat to the outer jersey. This baselayer, alonf with a normal (non-fleeced) long-sleeved jersey is all I needed for 45-50° weather. It's not wind-resistant, but otherwise it performs better than expected. Large size is perfect for a 5'9", 175 lb. male.”

“Had high hopes for this base layer. It is 100% poly. It functioned ok, but still was quite wet after my ride. I will say that I didn’t feel the moisture until I took off the shirt, so maybe that’s the point. In fairness, my merino base layers don’t do much better. Over all, I’d give it 3 out of 5 stars. Still looking for that mythical moisture wicking first layer that can actually stay dry. Maybe it doesn’t exist.”

“I just put in my first ride in the high 30’s with my Alpha Core SL base under a light jersey and the Alpine Thermal jacket. Perfect! Light weight, warm and wicked away sweat as advertised! I am 5’9” at 160 pounds and found the large was a good fit for me.”
