“I'm 5'11" and 160 lbs. I usually wear a medium and have been using Pearl Izumi pro shorts for many years but they changed them for the worse. These Summit shorts in medium fit well but feel loose around my waist. I may be used to the PI pro shorts which feel snug. The Summit short waist was ok while riding, was not falling down. Everything else is great.”

“I bought these shorts to replace old ones the gel pads on which were no longer doing their job. Wish I'd made the change sooner! I've been relegated to my NordicTrack spinner since a shoulder replacement surgery in August, so have spent many, many hours on the machine (and now it's winter, so no outdoor road biking anyway). I like how the shorts fit on my upper legs and lower abdomen - appropriately snug in both locations. And the gel pad - perfect.”

“Feels and looks cheaply made. The legs are shorter than I'm used to. The "12-hour pad" is bulky and feels like a diaper. Uncomfortable to ride in. I should have purchased the upgraded bibs but I wanted to have good quality shorts that I could conveniently slip on and go.”

“10/10 would recommend. Far better than the $50-$100 shorts I have from other cycling brands. I sized down from L to M. I’m 6ft 174lbs. I dislike the inconvenience of bibs and these are the most comfortable shorts I’ve found.”

“I have always bought the Ascent shorts but thought I would try the Summit shorts and see if they are worth it. They have a more comfortable waist band and better chamois but they also have a longer inseam which I thought was too long. I usually wear a large but got a medium in order to get a shorter inseam. At this point I will wear the Summit shorts on longer rides. Undecided on whether they are worth the extra money.”
