“I have always bought the Ascent shorts but thought I would try the Summit shorts and see if they are worth it. They have a more comfortable waist band and better chamois but they also have a longer inseam which I thought was too long. I usually wear a large but got a medium in order to get a shorter inseam. At this point I will wear the Summit shorts on longer rides. Undecided on whether they are worth the extra money.”

“These were purchased primarily for riding inside but have also been outside on some longer rides. The waist band isn’t constricting like some other shorts. We possibly could have sized down from the bibs with the same chamois). We purchased larges in both. We exchanged for a larger size from the medium bibs due to height, but probably could have ordered mediums for the shorts. We like the standard inseam. The longer inseam is just a little too long for a rider that’s 5’10.5””

“Its winter in the Northeast, we just concluded the last snowstorm. My remarks about the Summit shorts will be limited to trying on the pair and walking around in them. They feel very comfortable, the chamois fits well and no issues with seams. I selected these for long distance all day rides. I'm confident that fit and finish will be perfect for Randonneur ride distances.”

“These are great for gravel and riding on the trainer at home. What great about wearing these on the gravel trails is that a more comfortable/loose shirt can be worn and that beautiful breeze on a hot summer day can swirl around your torso. I also love that my chest/back can breath while on the trainer.”

“The shorts are great, normally I wear bibs, but on occasion like, when you are not wearing a full zip jersey, it's nice to have shorts on! They are soft and comfy feeling, and are true to size. I wear a Large and I am 5' 11.5" & 182lbs.”

“Updated my cycling shorts collection this summer with three pair of the Summit Classic Short. Used these shorts on more than 25 5-hour+ rides so far with great results. Just finished an 8-day tour in Italy with most days having 5+ hours of saddle time, again, great results. I do not use Chamois Cream, wash the shorts on gentle cycle with normal detergent when home and in a sink with Woolite when on the road.”
