It hard to wear my other jackets now that I’ve got this one.

I have been truly impressed by how well this jacket blocks the wind! I've used it in 20mph+ winds and I felt well insulated. By changing my base layer I can wear it from 20-40 degree F. I owned a previous version of this jacket and this new version is superior. The outer material is stretchier, the rear pockets easier to access, the zipper tabs easy to grasp with winter gloves, and the new insulations is amazing at regulating my temperature on a long winter's ride. Well designed, good looking and super comfortable!

The Vertex WX-D Jacket more than met my expectations for cold winter rides below 40 F. I was limited to the mid 40's until I purchased this jacket. I have worn it in temps for the low 20's to the low 40's, layering as needed, and it has kept me plenty warm. I would definitely buy it again. The medium fit me perfectly, allowing enough rooming for layering - just a base layer for the low to mid 40's and a base layer and thermal jersey for the low 20's. I am 5'8" and 140 lbs.

I am always cold. When I read the reviews saying all I needed was this light jacket paired with the very thin thermoregulator base layer to be comfortable in 30-40 degree temps, I was prepared to be disappointed. I was very wrong. I did a 30mile ride at low intensity with the temps starting in the mid 30's and reaching the high 40's by the end. I stayed remarkably warm at the low end and was quite toasty when it hit the 40's. After my ride I came home and immediately started searching the Pactimo site for more gear from this collection. The warmth-to-weight ratio was way beyond expectations.

First use on a ride in mid 30s F with a cold wind blowing from the E off Lake Michigan. Plenty warm with good moisture transfer. The interior fleece is real nice. Stylish too. Size XL and I'm 6'-1", 205 lbs. Great fit although just a slight bit bunchy in the chest area.

Only time out in it so far was a 40F day with a decent wind knocking the "feels like" temp down to the mid 30s. Had this jacket with just a summer weight LS jersey underneath... and I was overdressed. Very efficient jacket considering how lightweight it is. The wind-blocking is exceptional and a key feature for a quality jacket... even during some speedy descents, there was pretty much no chill getting through.

Immediately evident great quality. Now I just need more messy cold weather to revel in it. Btw, I normally wear XL but had to swap & size up to XXL.

Probably the best winter jacket I've ever owned! Keeps me nice and warm on the coldest mornings without overheating on the climbs.
