“I bought the alpine thermal cap to help stretch my riding season. It covers my ears well and the brim gives me additional protection from the cold wind. One of my pet peeves is wind causing my eyes to tear up despite wearing glasses! Definitely a great addition to my cold weather cycling gear!”

“Head and ears were shielded from very cool conditions at 37°-45°. Did not dissapoint amd will buy in other colors.”

“I have bought two of these so far in different colors. The cap works as advertised in keeping the head warm while riding, the ear flaps seem to stay mostly put, depending on helmet strap configuration.”

“It fits nicely under my helmet--kept my head warm (lowest it gets here is around 40 degrees). I can see where some said the ear flaps came up but I haven't experienced that-though ear coverage is just barely. If combine with a thermal headband it's a nonissue.”

“Since nearly all Helmets have plenty of vents, why not keep your head and ears warm on chilly rides? Definitely fits better than a beanie. My wife declared it silly looking until we went for a ride and she claimed it for her own.”
