“This cap, like their regular cap, fit my large head better than I expected. It definitely has more stretch than similar hats I have tried. With that said, it does not quite cover all of my left ear (my left ear must be bigger than the right because this is the case with other hats). I have a 23.5 cm head circumference. It is not heavily insulated. On a 40 degree ride, I started off with a chill but my head warmed up after about 15 minutes.”

“I just got the Alpine Thermal cap last week. I’ve used it 3 times so far in the 30’s. My ears and head have been comfortably warm. Another plus is the size of the brim, which is just the right size and doesn’t interfere with my line of sight or my helmet. Highly recommend this piece of kit!”

“Great cap for the cold rides. Kept my head nice and warm especially ears. I sweat a lot and it wicked the sweat just fine. I want one in black.”

“Used first time shoveling snow for couple of hours in upper 20's weather and stayed warm . Then on one hour ride week later in the 40's was comfortable under helmet stayed in place over ears”

“This is the perfect level of thickness so that your head isn’t freezing, but your also not sweating like crazy. I like that it covers the ears very well and is cut so that the helmet straps hold things on place nicely. Rode in 25 degrees F with it already and head was perfect temp.”
