“I was hesitate to try this item but thought I would still give it a go to help with any hair/dust the vacuum might miss. Unless I was using it wrong. It covers the wheels on the vacuum head so it is like pushing a dry mop around. The little tassles are fraying after two uses on gloss tiles”

Hi Dana Thanks so much for your review and for giving the microfibre floor tool a try! It sounds like the pad might not be aligned quite correctly. While it’s normal for the microfibre to wrap around the base of the vacuum head — including over the wheels as this is suitable for polished surfaces to avoid scratching — it’s important that the hole in the pad lines up with the suction opening on the tool. If the pad is flipped the wrong way or fully covering that central hole, it can block airflow and make it feel more like you’re just pushing a dry mop around. “Its a bit fiddly to get on to floor attachment. Would be better to have a floor attachment that can be changed from carpet to solid floor by using your foot.”

Our FLF008 microfiber floor tool attachment is an additional feature used on our FLT001 all purpose floor tool to remove fine dust and lint from your hard floor surfaces. We do offer a combination floor tool FLT003 which can be conveniently switched between settings to either raise or lower the nylon bristles as needed.
