Small and mighty
The Pacvac Velo Backpack Vacuum Cleaner is a lightweight and compact professional cleaning solution designed for both professional cleaners and users seeking professional-quality results at home. Built for efficiency and comfort, the Velo delivers powerful cleaning performance while remaining easy to manoeuvre in tight spaces and large environments.
Weighing just 3.9kg, the Pacvac Velo is one of the lightest backpack vacuums on the market. Despite its compact size, the unit features a powerful 900W motor that provides strong suction for efficient cleaning across a variety of surfaces. Its 18m power cord allows operators to cover a cleaning area of up to 1158m², reducing the need to frequently change power outlets and improving productivity during commercial cleaning tasks.
The Velo comes standard with Pacvac’s Ecoharness, designed with thicker padding for improved comfort during extended cleaning sessions. Made from at least 50% recycled rPET plastic, the Ecoharness is produced using recycled water bottles, supporting Pacvac’s commitment to sustainable product design.
For improved indoor air quality, the Velo features an H13 HEPA Hypercone™ filter system with four stages of filtration. This advanced filtration system captures 99.95% of dust particles as small as 0.3 microns, helping maintain cleaner air in environments such as offices, schools, hotels, and healthcare facilities.
Additional features include a water-resistant on/off switch positioned at the base of the unit for durability and ease of use. The vacuum also comes equipped with the popular All Purpose Floor Tool (FLT001), suitable for a wide range of hard floors and low-pile carpets. For deeper carpet cleaning and effective pet hair removal, the Turbo Head Floor Tool (FLT007) can be paired with the Velo to agitate embedded dirt and debris on low to medium pile carpets.

“Overall, I’m happy with it, but one thing I’m not satisfied with is the waist belt. When I tighten it to fit me properly, the Velcro doesn’t overlap enough to fasten securely, so it ends up being too loose. I also think the design for storing the hose could be improved.”

Hi there, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback. We really appreciate it. Please see this video showing the correct way to wear the Velo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nil-Nsnv83k, however it is noted smaller users may have additional length leftover like you have mentioned. A few ideas for the hose storage; it can be connected to the wand & floor tool and sat upright connected next to the machine or take of the wand & floor tool and sit the hose nozzle into the carry handle or alternatively you can unscrew the hose from the lid and lay it next to the machine. We'll be passing your comments along to our product and development team. Your feedback about the waist belt fit and the hose storage design is incredibly valuable, and insights like these help us improve future versions of our products. Jina

“Very happy with my new PacVac. I can actually see it lifting the carpet as I vacuum. Very effective suction for such a lightweight machine. Only drawback for me was the 18m cable. I reduced it by half, which is more than enough for our 2 bed unit. Maybe the company could offer optional lengths for those not doing commercial work.”

Hi Phil, Thanks for your fantastic 5-star review! We're delighted to hear you're enjoying your new Pacvac and that its lightweight design and powerful suction are making such a noticeable difference. We also appreciate your thoughtful feedback about the 18m power cord. It's designed to suit a wide range of environments, particularly larger spaces and commercial use, but we understand that a shorter cable can be more convenient in smaller homes. We'll be sure to pass your suggestion for optional cable lengths on to our product team for consideration. One important thing to note is that the power cord should always be fully unrolled during use. This isn't just for convenience, it's a safety recommendation. A coiled extension lead or power cord can trap heat as electricity passes through it, so fully extending the cord helps it dissipate heat properly and ensures safe operation. Thanks again for choosing Pacvac, and happy vacuuming! Jina

“Bought this to use at work and now use at home too ! Its so light and powerful. The telescopic wand reaches to the ceiling fans, above doors & all those out of reach places. I no longer need to get the stool/ladder out of cupboard. Very convenient to have all tools at hand too. Love It !”

“I have had many vacuum cleaners in my life, hoping each one was going to be The One. To be the one that had great suction, not heavy, easy to manouvre. Of course, none of them turned out to be it. After deciding to never use my 20 year-old upright pull-along that weighs a ton and gets caught on every piece of furniture in the house, I chose the Velo from Pacvac. It fits all my criteria, and at last vacuuming the house won't be my least favorite chore.”

“Not as good as l thought it'll be, maybe the best thing is how light it is, pipe is narrow, twice now it's got blocked. It's mostly plastic so lm worried it won't last as long as my old vac, pipe is metal but very thin.”

“Been using pacvac for at least 8yrs. So when these smaller units came out I thought I'd jump.on it. More than enough for small to medium even slightly larger houses. Has more than enough grunt to handle whatever is on the floor. Size was the selling point for me and how versatile and easy it is to get in and out of spaces and easy to store Overall I'd highly recommend!”
