In itself, the cover is pretty, the paper quality is fine. The medallion on the front cover is a touch too large and you can't increase font size too much, say if you only want to put in your initials and a subtitle, you'll be left with a lot of space. I mostly personalised him because I was loath to get a standard notebook with the medallion filled with meaningless text. Maybe add a feature to remove that medallion in the future.
Here's what my other bullet journal from Tyger Tyger (a Danish kids' store in the UK) has that thus hasn't. For £10. Same size, same number of pages.
- An elastic to hold the covers together
- A second ribbon bookmark
- An envelope on the back cover, to keep track of tickets, receipts and keepsakes
- The pages are numbered
- the pages have a 5-7mm border between the dots and the edge of the page, unlike here, where the dots run off the page
