“Buttery smooth nib, Waterman Carene fountain pen is amazing! the nib is super smooth producing a lovely amount of ink and is just wet enough so don’t worry if you think it is a gusher. The body of the pen is all metal, cold to the touch but it will gradually warm up after a few seconds, This pen is beautifully balanced even when you post the cap, it is so balanced that you can write with this pen with no pressure from the top of the pen! It is unfortunately easily to scratch this pen, but if you have a pen sleeve or a leather pouch it will protect from scratches. The converter for this pen holds a round .5ml of ink just like a cartridge. The nib gives the slightest variation when writing and will never skip if you write quick. Overall this is a wonderful fountain pen by Waterman, a beautiful design, well balanced, smooth nib and just breathtaking! Do not hesitate purchasing this pen, you will not be disappointed!”
