Hi Jayme, I am so sorry to hear that you are disappointed with your order. The product is engraved however it is a different process from normal engraving, this is called annealing.
For health reasons, we have to use annealing. Annealing is where we engrave under the top layer of the metal cutlery. If we were to engrave on the top layer the metallic debris may fall off into food, so for this reason we cannot. However, it is engraved under the top layer and will not ever rub off.
