Thanks so much for the honest feedback, we really appreciate you sharing your experience. What youâre describing is actually quite common with older or deeper urine contamination. When the carpet gets wet again (from shampooing, humidity, or moisture in the air), any urine that has soaked through into the underlay or subfloor can âreactivate,â which is why the smell can return after a few days even though the surface seems clean. A couple of tips that can help: Make sure the area is fully saturated with the enzyme, not just lightly sprayed â it needs to reach where the urine travelled. Avoid shampooing immediately after using the enzyme. Let it fully dry and do its job first (sometimes 24â48 hours). For stubborn stains/smells, repeat treatments are often needed, especially if accidents happened multiple times in the same spot. That said, weâre glad to hear itâs still performed better than other products youâve tried, even if it hasnât been a complete fix yet. I recently adopted a retired racing greyhound with high anxiety and limited toilet training (even though she's nearly 5). “The urine and stain remover is fantastic ! Removes all doggy smell and has even got old cat vomit stains out of carpet ! I sometimes just give my rug a light spray to freshen it up .
The disinfectant is also superb ! I use it to clean the bath after washing my pupper and it gets rid of the doggy smell, on my hard floors during potty training and also in my rabbit hutch as it is pet friendly ! Both great products !”

While not perfect on every stubborn stain, it definitely removes all smells. For stubborn stains repeated applications do substantially remove stains but not entirely.
