“We have a very anxious Labrador who is wary of other dogs, loud noises, bad weather/storms, and strangers. We tried the Adaptil Calm On-the-go Collar, and whilst it didnt make a significant improvement, it did help to reduce her anxiety a little bit. It was straightforward to use, although our dog made it difficult to put on as she kept moving to try and sniff it. Overall happy with it and will continuing using this collar.

“I have a beautiful dalmatian with a never-ending supply of energy. It means we can go on lots of fun adventures, but unfortunately it also means that when shes at home during a storm she has an abundance of nervous energy and she becomes very fearful of her surroundings. Using the Adaptil Calm collar has allowed her to chill out and cuddle on the couch during heavy rain, rather than fretting and panting heavily in fear until the rain stops. The collar has also been great during car rides. Shes now more than happy to relax next to my young son in the back seat, rather than jumping all over him until we reach our destination. “We tried this product on our Maltese X for the last week. It is a little early to say, however I do feel that it has calmed her to a degree (we have a new kitten who she is afraid off, and she doesnt seem to react as much as she usually would when the kitten comes within her personal space). She is anxious in general, she knows when we are leaving or if something different is going to happen (like visitors etc.) and I really feel like she is not as jittery in these situations since wearing the collar. This last week as felt like we will get a storm each afternoon and nothing eventuates, this is where I really want to see how this product helps her as these events are her highest anxiety/stressful moments. Overall, I feel like there is a reduction in her general anxiety, she does still have her moments however they do actually seem a lot less intense. “Using this collar on my 12year old Blue Heeler. She has chronic separation anxiety as well as Storm phobia. Whilst the collar did not improve her storm phobia, it seems to improved her separation anxiety responses. With new Duckling additions to the dynamics, the collar also seems to have calmed her natural instincts to want to eat them, making the adjustment much smoother than expected. “Our dog has struggled in the past with fireworks and we were concerned about his wellbeing on Australia Day. The collar was easy to put on and he didnt seem unconformable at all. He was significantly calmer during the fireworks from our neighbours than he has been in the past.”
“I have a large mastiff who is very nervous in wind and storms. Using the collar seemed to help him be more relaxed and happy to sit near us on the couch rather than hiding under the bed. The large collar is a bit small for a mastiff or thick necked large dog but we were able to add additional strapping to fit it. It will easily fit a dobermann, pointer or the more streamlined dogs. “So I have had the Adaptil collar on my pooch for about 2 weeks, it seems to be working a little as she isnt shaking when storms are in and its working for fireworks which is good, she still sits near the backdoor under cover on the back verandah rather than her kennel when these things happen, but in saying that Im very happy with how it works. Usually using flea collars on my pooch she ends up with a raw neck as she seems to get an allergic reaction, but so far there hasnt been any reaction to it. The only thing that stops me from buying in the future is the cost, as feeding stray cats and taking in lost birds my funds are used helping them. I was gifted a product sample to trial and review.”
