“The dress I received is true to size and looks great on, but on closer inspection, the stitch work is not great for the price paid, there were a lot of lose threads I had to cut off and there is some bad stitch work along the hem of the dress. The dress should have a nice flow but the outer mesh fabric keeps sticking together (see photo) so you have to keep separating the fabric to see the pleats. The zip is really tricky, my husband struggled to pull it up for me, and I was afraid that if he pulled any harder it would break!! Also, the plastic off the price tag was woven into the mesh and I had a hard time trying to not damage the fabric trying to remove the plastic tag from under the mesh.
I have added a photo showing the sticky fabric, just after taking it out of the wardrobe. Also, the bit of thread, at the front, which I presume is to secure the belt, doesn't work.
Going to wear it to my sister's wedding in June, so fingers crossed the zip holds up on the day.
Disappointing to learn afterwards that the only way to return the dress is via post. Not worth shipping back to the UK from Ireland. You can't bring it to a local store for a refund which seems like an unusual policy.”
