“My item was a pure wool coat- loved the style & fit- however- someone silly got involved in this garments design- put false buttons covering metal push stud poppers -on a wool winter ladies coat?- silly idea for many readons - for example- of you're going to put buttons on a coat- they should be working buttons- but metal poppers get looser after a few months wear- resulting in the garment popping open when sitting down or leaning over whilest moving with it on. Closing large poppers takes linger & a knack which I for one find awkward-whereas large coat bottons are easily closed- & as this is a winter coat- it makes more sense to button up quickly & easily as posdible before venturing outdide into typical seasonal bitter wind. It took me double even triple the time to do up the poppers behind the false buttons
Apart from the metal poppers behind false buttons spoiling this nice coat- the pockets are side pockets - located in the middle of the hips-creating an unsightly " bulge" on the hip line- which should be smooth on a ladies fitted winter coat.
Pity -for these reasons- false buttons, & bulging pockets on the hips- spoil this otherwise lovely garment for me- - I will return it regertfully. On the positive side- - the wool fabric is nice quality & keeps out bitter winter winds.
I urge Phase Eight to use more NATURAL fabrics in their otherwise nice clothes- LESS PLASTIC garments please- you can dress plastic fabrics up with lovely colourfull prints & elegant shapes- but we ,the customers-, -mostly prefer breathable natiural cotton/ silk / wool/ cashmere / linen next to our skin, & their shed fibres decompose naturally, unlike plastic fibres- which stay in the air we breathe.”
