“I'm between and size 14 and 16. The size 14 was a little snug, so I kept the size 16 to allow for thicker garments to be worn. The coat is slightly too long for me, at 5'4", from the shoulder line to the waist area, but I decided to keep the coat as the style suited my shape. It was useful to see the coat modelled by a model who was the same height as me before ordering a petite size.”
“This coat is really beautifully made, smartly minimalist & close-fitting, unlike the trench coats by numerous other high street brands that I've seen. Expensive but actually worth it imo. The only thing I don't like is the buttons, which have half a silver-tone metallic rim (very weird) that makes them look cheap - just solid black buttons would be better. I might replace them at some point.
I'm 5 foot 3 & normally a petite size 10 or even 8 in coats, but bc this one is so fitted (& I have a very 'apple' figure with a disproportionately large waist size) I had to size up to a 12 petite, which still fits beautifully all over, like how it looks on the model in the photos. Very happy with this purchase.”
