“I bought this as a gift because none of the smaller phone soaps fit my dad's phone case (otterbox). However, i returned it because it was huge and there wasn't a good place to put it because it has to stand up and can't lay on its side (according to customer service it's never been tested to lay horizontally). I think this is a great product for someone who wants to use it for larger items like an iPad... but this was too large to justify keeping for just a large phone.
I also don't like that it's difficult to tell if you've put it in auto or manual mode. I don't want to waste electricity by having it in auto but there's no way for me to know that it's running once the door is closed. There should be an indicator light on the outside to indicate the UV is on inside the box.”
