“Grandsons were so elated to receive a wireless phone charger and sanitizer. They knew Grandmom loved them all the more to think about COVID and their constant phone use
Thank you”
“The product appears well-made and works as expected. There are a number of shortcomings that represent a lack of foresight in design. Correcting these would make a better product:
1. The sterilization cycle start automatically when you close the lid. This means that if you sterilize your phone, take it out and then close the lid, it will run another completely unnecessary cycle. This was meant to be a slick feature, but it is wasteful not only on energy, but also on the lifetime of the light tubes. There should be a start switch so the cycle doesn't start with an empty chamber.
2. The arrangement of lamps is 2 on the bottom and 1 on top. With the wireless charging model, a phone will charge only when face up. Since the screen is the most frequently touched surface, that should be the surface exposed to 2 lamps.
3. With the wireless model, there is no way to charge the phone without starting a new sterilization cycle. Again, a manual start button would solve that problem.”
