“12/3/24 lights rec’d week of Oct 7. I purchased these because I ended up with Shingles and additional nerve damage after a medication was administered. I would have done anything to escape the pain. I was prescribed three different kinds of pain meds, but they didn’t really touch it, and the doctor didn’t really want to give them. The biomax lights interrupted the nerve pain. 10-20 minutes of RLT would take the pain from a 9 to a 3 for 1-3 hours. I used it as often as needed, several times a day, to manage the pain and was grateful for the help. I was not sleeping, but passing out from exhaustion for an hour or two a day and was surprised by the energy I had even without sleep. I suspect the energy came from the RLT.
The effect on my skin was a nice side bonus. The third time I used the lights a scar from a surgery in 2017 opened up and a plastic piece of ‘dissolving ’ stitch came out. My skin just erupted with stuff being expelled and I had scabs from the purge all over my face, neck, and chest for a few weeks. That is over now, thankfully, and I would likely not have had anything that extreme if I didn’t use the lights as much as I did. My skin continues to heal. I have an age spot on my cheek that used to be about the size of a dime and is now about the size of a pencil eraser. I had three friends in one week give unsolicited compliments to how good my skin looked and they all reached out with their hands like they wanted to cup my cheeks. No. I was shocked, I felt so bad, but I guess I looked better…scabs, grimace of pain and all.
The shingles are gone, the nerve damage in my arm is on its way out, and no w use the lights up to 40 minutes per day to manage the arm nerve pain. If you are thinking about these and want to learn more from a scientific perspective, search for photobiomodulation. Good luck.”
